How to Edit Text in Canva (The Easy Way!)
Editing text in Canva is super simple and kind of fun! Just follow these easy steps to get started:
Getting Started
- Log in to your Canva account and open the design you want to work on.
- Click on the text you want to edit. Once selected, a handy toolbar will pop up above it with all your editing options.
Formatting Your Text
- Bold: Want to make your text stand out? Click the “B” icon to bold it instantly.
- Underline: Add emphasis by clicking the “U” icon to underline your text.
- Both: You can totally use bold and underline together—just click both icons!
Changing Fonts & Sizes
- Font Style: Click the font name in the toolbar to open a list of available fonts. Pick one you love, and it’ll update right away.
- Font Size: Next to the font name, you’ll see a number—click it to adjust the size using a slider. Easy peasy!
Adding Colour
To give your text some flair, click the little coloured square in the toolbar. A colour palette will appear—just pick your favourite shade, and boom, your text is updated.
